box recommendations 18" nightshades

Do a single 10" piece of sono tube with some crafted MDF flares. That'll put you at roughly 80 sq in of port area which would be acceptable for a 12 cu ft box (6 per sub)

5 cubes per sub is plenty bug enough and 4 6" aeroes tuned to 32hz god the nightshades will love it..trust me mine did..

going in a trunk car sealed off.

12 cubes is a little over what i have to work with. i was under the impression nightshade work ok in little over 4 cubes after displacements. if not might have to switch subs.

is 80" of port enough? was thinking about a 12" port, flared of corse.

80 sq in is plenty for an 8 cube box. However, you're looking at an 10" port. That comes out to 78 sq in. A 12" port is 113 sq in.
