use 3/4" not 1/2".....and its not as simple as saying the box shape. The box is extremely important to make sure its designed correctly and built correctly.

PM me the make and model of subwoofer you have as well as the dimensions you are planning to put it in (length, width, and height).

Let me know if you want sealed or ported too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

no.....use wood glue
i still say use gorilla glue since mdf is mainly glue anyways. The bond is stronger then the mdf!

ive personally tried to break a gorilla glue bond after it dried between 2 pieces of mdf on a 3/4" edge and the mdf broke right next to the glue joint, about 1/8 - 1/4" from the joint. but dont listen to me i dont know anything, im only going to school to be a material science engineer and am in the top 5th percentile of my class for GPA's.

Don't know about the ported or seal?? I'm a newb to this.
Just send me the specifics on the subwoofer you are planning on using and let me know what dimensions you want to put it in. I'll see what I can do for you:D

and to add to that, gorilla glue makes a wood glue.
