I have the jbl bp1200.1 and the jbl p80.4 as my amps. I just want a cheap in dash dvd player that plays dvd cd and cd-r. Do you know of any that are cheap for 300$?

I meant to add that would have the rca hookups I need for the amp? Or should I just use my cd player and buy a dvd player to go under my seat and use a fm modulator?

I know dude there are many dvd players not in dash cheap as ****, but I need to be able to run my amps....How should I do that? I dont wanna spend alot really not for just a dvd player. So just us my cd player and hook up the amps to it then run the dvd player? Or just run the dvd player or what? I will take your outlook...what would you do if you just wanted to spend 300$ on a unit that will play dvd cd cd-r?

15 Watt 4 Channel Amplifier (15Wx4) - These are what you would convert to RCA outs

I assume that there are green/green black and violet/violet black wires somewhere on the back of the unit?

I think you are looking for (for the line out converter hookup) the '15 Watt 4 channel amplifier'.. there should be 'front' and 'back' speaker wires (left and right, at least 6 wires.. front-left hot, front-right hot, front ground, rear-left hot, rear-right hot, rear ground.. there might be 8 wires, a ground for each hot). You would hook the speaker wires up to the converter, run RCA cables from the converter to the amp.. You might also check out the 'Dolby Coaxial Digital Outout Jack'.. see if there is a converter for that, or see if your amps take a coaxial input?

If you don't have this head unit yet, I'd suggest contacting either Lanzar or the people you plan on buying from and see if they have any more info for you.. If you already have the HU, you should be able to look at the documentation to figure out which are speaker wires and if the dolby coax is just sound, etc.. or look on the back of the unit and see if there are RCA pre-outs on it, just because it's not listed on the normal 'blurb' sellers have doesn't mean they aren't on the unit...

Hope that helps..

You guys are for sure 100% certain that its a line output converter? I looked at a couple and all they tell me it converts high level outputs to low level outputs.....thats correct right? thanks for all the help.

I think Im just gonna say F*** it and use my cd player and run a fm mod from the cd player to the dvd player and sit it under my seat.....how does that sound to fix the problem?

Yes...If you need RCA outputs(also called low-level outputs) You Will need a Line Output Converter.

A line output converter changes speaker outputs(also called high-level outputs) into RCA outputs(also called low-level outputs) it is very simple to use.

But if you decide to get rid of the dvd player, I might be interested.
