Mag to replace rlp?

the problem is, this guy is talking about a direct swap. his rl-p would sell for about $160-180 and a new mag cost about $400 new and i don't think he is gonna get a $200 increase in performance.

i personally don't think you'll see a huge difference. if you wanna do it for the sake of trying something new, you won't be dissapointed, but when you are talking $200-250 for the upgrade, idk if you'll see that kind of upgrade in performance

i guess i'm not understanding? between the mag and the rl-p given the install, i doubt there would be noticible difference

your giving the rl-p adequate power. maybe try a more spl oriented sub, or go for the mag.

go for mag because you have more room to upgrade in the future and its an overall better sub

my vote goes to more power because after you spend all the money on the sub then i think your still gonna want it to be louder. Get some more power goin to the rl-p and then see how you like it and if you don't like the sound then switch to the mag.
