I know, just to stay off the bandwagon I won't get a new unit that suits my needs and is a good upgrade just to say look I'm not on a bandwagon.

I have not had a new head unit in 3 years or so? When the 9833 came out, well I guess I jumped on that bandwagon too, and guess what, they were right then too.

oh sorrry, im running passive with bass blockers to the tweets. going active would be much better but i like a little rear fill, even if i never hear it.
