Imaging in an SUV

I have been thinking about the best way to improve the imaging of my component setup, since I will be going active soon.

Right now I have the mids in the stock location, bottom front of the doors. This is a terrible place because if someone is sitting in the passenger side, then I loose all mid from the right. I was thinking about kick pods, however the same thing would happen. Passenger legs would block the sound, or so I think.

Tweeters are mounted in the dash, facing up towards the windshield. I like this mounting location because the tweeters fill the front nicely this way. I'm not worried about the tweeters being far away from the mids, as time alignment will correct that no problem. Stereo left/right doesn't seem to be an issue with the tweeters, even with them run passive and no time alignment.

Any ideas or thoughts on where the best place for mids would be?

i think me kicks on the floor. not the door.

Left one.
