Made some 15" SX **** today...

Everything is wired good. Its wired down to one ohm.

It gets plenty loud, just doesnt exurt a lot? But seriously, it has the output that I expected. I used to have an SX.

Electrical isnt perfect, but isnt horrible either.

Ive been watchin other SX vids, and it doesnt seem like mine did bad at all.

play the following 3 songs:

Late Night Tip - 3-6 mafia

Ovadose - Twista

Gripping The Grain - Bonecrusher

seriously...play these 3 songs and record your sub.

Gains set flat....volume 3/4 or so

mines goes crazy with 600 wrms....sees full excursion

(3.14 cu ft tuned to 29 hz)

I can 180 the phase on my amp or headunit, but again, I really dont think its bad, this thing gets loud.

I cant believe nobody understands why its not throwing as far as it can...

A vented box is made to increase efficiency of the subwoofer. This is done by increasing the air being move, and minimizing the stroke of the subwoofer. If you really want to see how far it can throw, pull it out and run it freeair, or build a semi-large sealed box for it.

If yours moves more than that, it either has more power on it or the box is tuned different.

The only way it could be wired wrong and still play is if it were ran in a series, and the amp is not puting out its full power at that ohm load. If that is the case, try wireing it parrallel, it will usually get more than twice the power that way.
