alt charges at 15.6v cold now 15.3 warm. going to change it up tomorrow so it charges at 15.3 cold and 15.0 warm

i read somewhere cant remember where its 22v when thing start shiitting. but 16v i think over 10 mins will trip a service light or 18v for over 2 mins. I think i read that in a repair manual:crazy:And you don't share!!?

Not to rain on your parade, as your discovery is very innovative, but wouldn't you significantly reduce the life of your alt. by doing this? The stock alt is rated @ a certain amperage and setting it to charge that high means it will be running round the clock in an effort to keep up. I think that would wear it out fairly quickly.
