Connecting 0 gauge wire.

Anybody know of a way to connect two piece of 0 gauge power wire and get a good connection,The power wire Is a little to short,I want to extend it.

They make connectors. Check Stinger out I think they make them

solder 2 together, put a ring on each end of the wire and bolt the 2 rings together then put tape on it, etc. use your imagination

not for 1/0 what they skip that size? they have them even at the home depot around here. the supply house has up to 700 mcm on the shelf.

they have 1/0 butt connectors? stick some wire in each end and crimp it?

ok i get ya, i dont call them butt connectors but I know what you are talking about, you can get those at welding supply, thats why i said a welding shop

op if it was me i would get out the solder and blow torch and be done with it

it will be a trouble spot might as well fuse it.. can't hurt..

Fuse holder\distro, butt connector, bolt two ring terminals together and tape them up or heatshrink them.

These are the three easiest and best alternatives in my opinion... all of which have been said
