Hi,
I am having a difficult time with an install with an in-dash nav system and I hope someone can help. my touchscreen no longer operates but is still getting power and the radio works.. If I slap the lower console area the touchscreen will come on and function until I shut it off and restart or drive around for awhile (then touchscreen functions will freeze..after hitting a bump maybe? ) keep in mind the LCD always has plenty of power as I can change mode to aux and get the blue screen...
is there any install wire that can cause this (lcd to get power but no OS or touch screen capability unless I slap the console)?
The installer is saying that its a radio problem and the manufacturer is claiming its the wiring. I have an appointment to give it one more look and would appreciate any suggestions you guys may have. The vehicles install history is below if it helps..THANKS!!

1) After having installed radio worked great but I Got car back from installer with non working ac/heating.
2) brought it back and they fixed ac/heating saying a previous owner of my 15,000 mile car had another radio in apparently and broke the tabs and thats why the wire fell out... so they fixed it
3) half way home radio stops working..So I bring it back again... They said it was def going to be the radio and reluctantly looked at it again...to tell me it was actually a fuze that died and the previous owner put in a 5 amp fuze when it needed a 20 amp one.. so they put a new fuze in.
4) next morning I start car and have this new problem thats the topic of this post. any Ideas?
