Not the greatest in a car environment if its anything like the IXL 15"

I've heard one in a HT set-up and liked it. Never used or seen one in a car install. Have too low of a RMS for my system. Never heard any bad reviews of them though.

Yes, the IXL-18 is not built for car audio, although some folks have used them. It is primarily for home theater/Infinite Baffle setups.

If you're looking to blow your head off, just wait for the TeamSD drivers.
