wow. i remember way back when i got my first MAW12. i was very impressed on its performance, only giving it 400 watts in a trunk car. sealed. it still got loud. i hope they make a 18" version of this, ill definatly be buying one if they do

highest we've got the mag in that exact box was a 141, so the SPL 12 is pretty comperable to the mag in output in reference to this enclosure.

I did notice the SPL 12 was a bit peakier at higher fequencies as compared to the Mag....which is a good thing since this is a SPL orientated sub in the first place.

I did however, play "bass I love you" and yes, the sub did get warm after 30 seconds at full tilt.
