its me again, boston g5's, or re se?

hi guys, u have been very helpful so far, so i need your help again. my girlfriend got mad at me cause i tried to tell her do not buy an all audiobahn system because its pretty, and she didnt listen and she is mad because she said i didnt try hard enough to stop her:eyebrow: but anywayz i agreed to rebuild her system. i already bought some cdt audio componets, and cdt component 6x9 in the back power by an jbl gto amp. i just dont know what sub to pick, she likes alot of reggae,rap,and r&b. i was just curious about the comparison between the two, also other suggestins is always more welcome, thanks and i need help asap because her b-day is commin up and i want it done by then

There are not too many people that seem to know a lot abot the G5 around here. I thought about getting one but never could get that much input on them.

i listened to them but ****, 300 a piece?? they sound hell good tho, i just was wondering about re audio se's because the g5's sounded really loud with only 900 watts to it in a ported box, but i juss would like to kno how re se's sound because i can get a pair for next to nothing

I have a G5 10... it is simply AMAZING(even off next to no power)... if they came in a dual 2ohm coil I would never have anything else in my ride..

Only 900 watts? Isn't that sub rated for lsomething in the area of 400 -450?

I happened to listen to one with 400RMS running to it in a ported box and I was impressed. $300 doesn't seem like too much for that sub to me.

well, the 900 watts was on 2 g5's in a ported box. so i would be looking at 600 for subs, but they do sound good, maybe to good for my girlfriend. i might just go buy the re audio se's for like 335 a pair. thanks fa the help
