i have a hk4000d that im going to run 3l7s off of. i have 6 batteries and a 300 amp alternator,do you think my amp can handle it??? and no its not modded,yet!

sorry,my options are 1.33 ohms or 2.66 ohms but then i wont have enough power for them if i go with 2.66. thanks.

if this wont work can anyone point me in the right direction for modding my hk?

what would be louder then? my hk at 2.66 on 3 l7's or my hk at 2ohms on 1-solo-x 18? in your opinion?

im only going with kicker because i get such a good deal on it. or else i would be going with dd!

i get the new black 09' l7's for 180.00 each and i get the solo-x 18, for 550.00 brand new with warranty.

Mine ran pretty well @ 1ohm. Sounds like you should have enough power to back it up to me.

I have ran mine at 1 ohm with a strong electrical.I have heard them run at .7 daily and I know they will run at .5 for burps.

Modding only removes the protection aspect which in turn CAN cause the amp to blow.This isn't really a mod rather removing the protection circuts so the amp won't go into protect.This is the safety feature that PREVENTS your amp from blowing.

Just run it with out modding it. Run it at 2.66 ohms. Are you going out for any comps winning any big money?????? If not just run it at 2.66 then. And if you ever do go to comps I have run them with out modding them below 2 ohms. You have some power behind it. When you do lower the ohm load at comps just watch the voltage you will be fine with 3 secound burps.

^^^agreed on that.Both mine are modded and I run them at 2 ohms.Mainly burping is the only time I drop it low.The main thing to have is the electrical to back them with or without the mod.
