HK line is hungry but does put out power. great amps for the money

I think MA and Kicker are kind of like apples and oranges.

Mostly when it comes to price and effiencey.

I'd go with Opti's for the price! Those 2000d are 1/2 stable and you can find them CHEAP

I would say that the hk1000d could handle .5ohm. It barely gets warm at 1ohm after 2 hrs around 3/4 tilt

Hmm, Opti's I'm a little worried there.. I REALLY don't want to get myself into another sub par amp..

But it is the only line of amps made by lanzar that aren't.. That's what worries me..

why would it worry you when people have proven them to be great amps? Its like autotek, the mean machines series I believe are the only good ones to buy

No one has proven me anything, I've only heard peoples word..

Like "The Opti series is good" or "I love my Opti"

The Opti's are great. If you can wire at 1 ohm to your subs, an Opti1000.1D or a Sundown SAE-1000D would both be great choices. I have 6 Opti 1000.1D's in great condition for sale: http://www.db-r.com/sell/store

Hummm. Okay I have Ran the HK400d's 12volt setup on stock dodge alt with one extra battery depending on your ohm load wont pull that much still a good amount though and ran them on a 16 volt setup, good sub amps help me get into the 150's with one sub. Ran two HK1998 at 1 ohm not a 2 ohm stock alt with a extra batt ran fine never went into protect at all. Ran their ma498i four channel amp for years loved it made good power never drew alot of amps neither did the hk1998's. Ran the HC4002 tad bit over rated never drew any amount of amps reall didnt put out that much power at all. Thats about 10 years old. Run alot of their speakers. Line drivers good bass drivers too 8volt plus outputs....

So I say Ma Audio.
