for the power you want at imp you want kicker will probably be your best best. To bad you dont want 800wrms @ 1 ohm because I would sell you my HK1000D. Does well on a stock electrical with the big 3 done. Many like to believe the amp is not 1 ohm stable but their misled.
do you have the subs yet? because if you can run 4 ohms, then you can run 1ohmFor the moment? 1000w at 2ohm or 4ohm.
read the sticky i dont feel like explaining it
Miker this is some what true. Yes the Hk4000d and Hk2000d do **** some power even more when ran at lower ohm loads when any amp will draw more power. The HK lower lines like 1000d I think 7 or 4 ood's are lower draws....yes to the HK linethey are POWER HUNGRY though
WHOLY CRAP!!! i need an amp that runs at 1 ohm on stock at 800 rms on 1 ohm!!! haha ive been looking 4 a while...how much $$??for the power you want at imp you want kicker will probably be your best best. To bad you dont want 800wrms @ 1 ohm because I would sell you my HK1000D. Does well on a stock electrical with the big 3 done. Many like to believe the amp is not 1 ohm stable but their misled.
smaller wires can only handle a certain amount of current. and have more resistance. trying to supply a 1000w amp on stock wiring is going to strain your electrical, because its trying to pull more current than the wires can handle.I want a factual reason why the big three is needed in 1/0 wire.
Ok, less strain, makes sense.smaller wires can only handle a certain amount of current. and have more resistance. trying to supply a 1000w amp on stock wiring is going to strain your electrical, because its trying to pull more current than the wires can handle.
now upgrade the wires to 1/0, and you have way less resistance. that means more current goes throught alot faster, which equals less strain on the elctrical system.
power flows faster with less resistance. hence why amplifiers make certain rms power at different ohms, 4ohms will have more resistance than 2ohms, get what im saying?
