So, I sold the ASPM-1300 to a dude who was just looking to re-bump his system after he dropped his $800 2000 watt RMS amp, for $105, I made a whole 10 bucks on that. But either way, i just recieved my Obsidian 15 today and ohh myy it looks nice! And I want to make sure that it runs nice, so before I buy any amp now, I want some feedback. I've got 3 amps that I'm looking at right now that fit what I am looking for

  1. F700-1 CADENCE AMP MONOBLOCK 1600W MAX SUBS SUBWOOFERS SPEAKERS AMPLIFIER F7001 (812902006260) | eBay
  2. MB QUART REF1.800 800W
  3. NEW Hifonics HFi1000.1D 1000 Watt Class D Car Amp Amplifier Mono HFI1000D (613815567738) | eBay

I am looking for maximum efficiency first, and then the amp that does the closest clean rated RMS wattage for 2 ohms. I just want to make sure that the amp I buy will be good quality. If you guys have any other recommendations, please don't hesitate to list them. I just want to get my first system right the first time!

All will do within a few watts of each other. So pick the one that looks the best to u. Everybodys dong is hard over the Audiopop 1500 so may wanna look at it.
I would get the ASPM-1500 but my alternator wouldn't be able to handle that much wattage. Thats why I want to stay less than 750 watts RMS.

Since they are all so closely related in RMS wattage, which one do you think is the best quality? I plan to have this system for 3-5 years, so I want the amp that will survive for that long!

Well being u would be running it at 2ohm I would expect the draw to be just as much as any of the ones listed above.
The 1500 does 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohms vs all the other amps which do 650-800 watts RMS at 2 ohms. thats a difference of 200-350 watts difference. Divide that by the 12v that my alternator does and thats an additional 16.6-30 amps. I only have 80 amps. I can't do more than 750 watts RMS.

Do u plan on playing a sine wave all day?? If not then forget all about that 16-30amps bs. My amp can draw upto 200amps but will it?? Not never...

With that given time frame, Id wait around for something better used, or try to increase your budget...

Ill check to see if we have anything in Bstock i can sell you for that price or less..

I have the Cadence F700 with stock electrical, a wal-mart battery and an 80a alternator. I never have any problems with dimming or anything

o.0 Well this is news to me! Well in that case, the ASPM-1500 looks VERY appealing to me suddenly... 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohms. But then I mean the only difference I'm going to get out of 750-800 watts RMS vs the 1000 watts is like 1-2.5 db...

Dnt look at it like that.. The difference is not the 100-200 extra watts u may or may not get from the AP. Its the fact that you have an amp that is 1ohm stable for any future upgrades...

Hmmm. Well before I decide to buy the ASPM-1500 does anybody else have any other recommendations? I don't want it to be like last time when I bought the ASPM-1300 and right after I got it everybody talked **** about it. I don't want to keep buying and selling amps.

Sorry man, your budget is really what is holding back better options..the flash amp is great, and will work well, but better options are available but w/ a higher cost of course....
