LSQ Guidance for Front/Sub stage.

So i want something that will be loud. I had SPX's and they aren't to my likeing, they peak right where i start "feeling" them. I am leaning towards Focal K2P's and i'll be using my existing amp that will throw 150 a side to them. K2P's are louder than SPX's right? And they do retain good SQ? I might also want to do a 3-way setup with the K3P's. . . we'll see. ( I dont want to run active)

Also,

For my substage I think I want from 800-1200 watts. I dont know either to get two subwoofers at between 400-600 or to get 1 great subwoofer that can take 1000 daily. Which will sound better? Any difference between a 1 sub or 2sub setup if given the same power??? The goal is accuracy at high volume. I was thinking of either 1 or 2 IDMAX/ DD 9500 series/ SI MAG , ???
