hay i have a boss monoblock 1200 watt amp that blows the fuses it has as u remotely turn it on got it for free from a friend is it fixable?? and if it is how can it be fixed??

Its a Boss so thats your first problem... but what are you talking about on the remote thing?

yea i know there cheap but i got it for free an wat i mean is that wen its turned on right wen it gets power it blows both fuses that it has on it so i was wondering if it could be fixed so i can sell it and get some money off it

put aluminum foil on your fuses..jk dont do that

yea checked online to see the right fuse (and i know better then to put aluminum im not that dumb) but wen it recives power it blows then would it be a short circut in the amp that does it or a diff reason?

Have you checked your ground point??May not be a solid ground.. blowing the fuses???It sounds fixable.If you can take the cover off, maybe you can locate the issue if its not a bad ground point.If you know how to solder,maybe you can repair it?Getting it repaired may not be worth the trouble,and you may not come out ahead.You can take the amp to the car battery and test it there with the remote and power connected together,and then ground it,if it doesnt blow a fuse there then you have a bad ground connection,if it does, then the issue is internal.Worth a try??Used Boss amps arent worth much though,

yea the ground is good (also tryed it on my gfs system and it does the same thing so i guessing its internal)

and i also opened it and were the fuses go it seams burnt but it looks like just the plugs nothing else looking burnt

That's a really bad sign, and that amp probably isn't worth the shipping to send it to a competent shop.

yeah, sounds like its bad. Its not worth fixing. Im sure you can find another boss amp for about $50 or so.

wat can u guys tell me about a pyle 3000 watt 2ch amp chopper ed?? cus i had it to 2 boss phantoms an they hit hard for wat the amp pushed??
