Hey everyone, I'm an amateur at wiring in cars, but I wired two 12 inch Kicker comp C subs in last year. I decided to get some aftermarket speakers for my lil civic which are rated for 60W. I have a 400 W RMS x4 amplifier for all four speakers.
I didn't upgrade my stock headunit so last year I bought a LOC to convert the rear speaker wires into RCA. Through a series of RCA splitters, I connected four sets of RCAs running from the same LOC for both the subwoofer and four speakers.
I also purchased two power/ground distribution blocks. One has a 4 gauge power wire from the battery that splits into 4 gauge to subwoofer amp and 8 gauge for speaker amp. The other has a 4 gauge ground into chassis that splits into 4 gauge to subwoofer amp and 8 gauge to speaker amp. I'm thinking the problem might be the ground but I'm not too sure since the subwoofer isn't making noise.
Thanks everyone
