high pass = let high frequencies pass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif therefore, blocks lower frequencies than the setting.

low pass = lets low frequencies pass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif therefore, blocks higher frequencies than the setting.

Do i use the low or high pass filter on a 4ch amp to run 4 mids\highs speakers? They both show the same specs so i dont know whats the difference between the two?
ANeonRider has it right on the money.

Set it to High Pass. Then set the crossover frequency to just about where your subwoofers are crossed-over.

IE: Subs lowpassed @ 85hz

then highpass mids/highs @ around 80hz Then play with that measurement +/- 10 or so hz to get it to blend correctly with subs.
