If your going prefab make sure its at least 3/4" thick. Get as close to 2.85cuft. as possible, and at 2.85 cuft. sealed you need 800 watts to get full output, no more.

That was your friends fault. Bigger box = lower mechanical power handling. No way a Brahma was going to survive with 1100w in that big of a box.
