Low ohm ?

I've been thinking of trying to put 3 Mach5 mj18s in my trunk but I'm not sure on how much power to give them. I currently have a Lanzar 1800d(1200@1ohm) and was thinking of doing two of those strapped to the three subs. 3 single 4s would come out to be a 1.34ohm load and the amps are rated for 2ohms strapped. Would this be dangerous or would the imp. rise from installation keep me safe?

Actually that is the cheap route, theres one in the classifieds under 140 and I got mine for less than that. 220 for 2000 watts is cheap imo.

I say 99.9% you'd be fine...

But being they are Lanzar amps, who knows...Like an above poster suggested, buying a amp that can support the load with plenty of power rather than buying another Lanzar..

It may be a bit more money, but you'd have peace of mind knowing 1.34ohm is going to run fine all long, rather than just hoping the Lanzars work...and then if they don't your out triple the money.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
