low ohm light on my 1000/1

Hey guys im gettting a low ohm light on my 1000/1 when it is just sitting there. Any subjestions on what could be casueing this?

voice coils goin bad maybe. disconnect wires from speaker and use DVM to check resistance across the terminals. They should match or be very close to the specs. of the speaker.

Thats what i though but it does it when I don't have the subs even connected.

What subs do you have hooked up ? Speaker wire grounding out ?

2.5 ohm 3 10v6v2's. I smell the amp and i smell a burned smell. Im sending it to JL and gonna have them deal with it. Thanks guys.....
