Low hitting 12

I went tc and will never go back for the lows. I have heard sundowns and skars but they just don't cut it compared to what the tc sounds designed subs can do. I had a dc xl which was praised for getting loud and low. My two eclipse ti's get much lower and louder than the xl. But dc subs are quite impressive.
agreed sir. I have used so many variations of the TC-9 subs and it's hard to find anything comparable in that price range.

I've had my 12" single skar tuned at 33 / 28 / ported

4th order 44

4th order 30

4th order 20

murders the fsking lows in the 4th orders all day long I can play down to 15hz without an issue in the 4th order 30

and if anyone knows where I can find an Adire Brahma let me know

4th orders are nice I hope it could play that low in one. There is a ****** alumapro m16 on phoenix phorums.

I always get a kick out of people saying how "low" their subs can play. But it's hard to get a good idea of how low it really plays unless you have some output numbers at that given frequency to back up how low it really has good output down to. Any sub can reach down to 20hz but can you actually feel and see the effect under a certain decibel level?

For example I had a type r 12" that played 25hz very well. That statement does not hold much weight unless I were to say it did 138.5db at 25hz.

With 1200watts on both on of my 12inch eclipse ti's i did a 143 and some change at 32hz at the head rest. I am upgrading power and putting more sound deadener down and hope to achieve high numbers between 28-32hz

^ this is true but its about the richness of "lowness" too, what I mean is I don't have to turn my hu up loud at all to hear and feel the very low end. I usually have my volume on 14 out of 40 with two notches on the bass knob and I'm good for just ridin. I mean I'm not shaking the ground that with the volume that low but I can still hear the fullness. I don't no how to explain it but I love listening to rock and oldies that really need that low end from the subs. It makes the songs sound amazing

I haven't had it metered yet in the 4th order.. but it does shake the car and you can feel it below 25hz.. I'm not saying its slamming over 130db's or nothing that low

but compared to other subs i've had, besides the brahma nothing has came close to hitting at this low of tuning
