Low hitting 12

Can anyone give me any recommendations on a really low hitting sub that jus murders the lowws, like will play 27hz no problem maybe even lower, i prefer 12's and will be using an akur db drive 2000.1 to power either one or two subs thanks in advance. gonna be using a 4 cu ft boz tuned to ~28hz. SQ is not a huge priority either

Get a couple Skar 12's

if you can find a couple used Shiva's i think you'd like those a lot more.

SKAR Audio sounds like a good fit.

EDIT: While you're at it, hit up @pro\-rabbit and get a quality enclosure. (Or you can just throw your money in his face, that's cool too.)

The enclosure will make a huge difference in the output. More so then the actual sub will. So ensure you are building/designing a good overall enclosure and you will be fine.

What are you trying to play overall? Odds are is that 28hz will be far to low for most in a daily setup.

It does work for some, but most do not like it over all.

I can get a nice box for cheap on ebay tuned to 32 u think i shud get that its only like 200 bucks a lil less

U can still find shivas prob used though. Adire use to make them but maybe someone else has taken and made a copy not sure. No they were not that $$$. I have my ssf set to 25hz and my skars love it.

I mean, I like the Adire owner a lot more than the SKAR owner. But his product is a good one. But I'll leave you to your endeavors.

i cant belive 10's can handle 25 hz well thats amazing, so even tho u have your subsonic filter set 5 hz under what your box is tuned it still sounds good on those lowws

I would not pick up an enclosure on ebay when looking for something like you are. Better off design/building your own or having one built. There are several options out there for online enclosure builders and designers.

holy that crossfire is a beast, if i can find one for cheap i mite have to get one, ima need a bigger amp for sure tho
