low-end sub

no kididing your talking about a sub that can be had for a fraction of the cost of another....the second being the Q being a hand made quality driver...

and i own one so im biased...

briton how you been?...when am i gonna get to hear the van?
ive been good but the subs down right now dont know why just decided not to work today. Im hoping it just some loose wires on the hu.

yikes...get that thing going...im going back to NJ from the 15th to the 2nd but then ill be back down here....are you going to be on that meet that apparently is in the works for the holiday?

srry to tell yall this but this thread needs to be locked i guess

about 4hours ago i found out that my dad has about 99% sure he has pancreous cancer(spelling?)

so this project is no longer on my mind but thanks for the help

thanks man,

the offical diagonice will be here in about 2 days but they removed 2liters of fluid from his stomach and said the speciman they sent of looked like splattered gritts.

i know i can deal with it, i just dont want my dad suffering, thats the hardest thing in the world

i know i should think like this but i might have to sell off my system to pay off his medical bills and things.

i have, (man this is tough), 215L7's with 2Zx1000.1 on each sub

how about some 8"s .. to have nice SQ setup for her ... like 2 or 4 Assassins which are 50$ per sub .. and then get a box that works with it and a nice clean power amp ..

nvm.. just read the rest of the posts ..

NOTHING WILL BEAT THE PG XENON SUBS PER WATT IN low end.

After 45-50hz though the woofer sounds sloppy, and has barley any output.
Yep... I wouldnt say it sounds sloppy, its just not strong at the higher frequencies as some. The low end beats most anything available period though as mentioned!

i have just installed 2 15l7's and am very happy with them
my question is, my GF wants a system now and i want something that is a low-end monster. looking about maybe 2 12's and spending about 200dollars per sub. i dont mind buying on ebay as long as its brand new.

so give me some ideas
Subs with low Fs, high linear displacement, higher Vas, and (consiquiently) high inductance generally tend to favor lower frequincies.

Now, Reasearch and make your decision bassed on that and what you can find from using the search function on this, and other, forums.
