I was a previous owner of the infinity kappas, and they were good subs without a doubt, but my zrs whiped it in every aspect imo. the 10s or 12s will do fine.

The music I listen to is mostly classic-rock (60-70 verses from Jimmie Hendrix to led zeppelin, ac-dc, CSN&Y and jethro tull ), modern rock (3 doors down, Alice in chains, pearl jam, muse, and coldplay) and a tiny bit of electrical (infected mushroom)

Does that make a difference at all?

I will back up anything i have experience with. If I thought that the infinity was better than I wouldnt lie about it. The infinity 1220 was my second woofer that Ive ever owned, and the kappas were my third. I sold the 1220s to a friend, and the kappas to my cousin. Both were good, but im not even gonna lie that the zr smacked them both. I never said it was the best sub, just better than the kappas thats all. cleaner response, handles low end extension better, can handle more power, beefier. what more could u ask for lesser price than the kappas. Buy whatever you want though. Just my 2 cents

If you listen to mostly rock, then a 10" would be better for you. 10" subs deliver punchier type bass, the kind that most rock artists use (kick drums, etc.). Bigger subs are more for boomy bass that is in rap music.

they play everything except ying yang twins and lil john very nicely..

rock at high volumes and its like yer at a live show... small box and im overpowering them....

Your music choice will sound great on a 10 or 12. You're looking for SQ and your car is very small, so a 10 would give you the sound you want and help save space in your car.
