Profile would be your cheapest most reliable amp brand. My first amp was a Legacy and it was poop.

I couldnt find any profiles that could run high on 4 ohms...

I did find a blitz that would work? Anything good on that?

What kind of speakers are you hooking up? Subs or mids/highs? For 300 (or much less) you can pick up a pretty sweet amp off of ebay. If not, look around for some USAcoustics, decent amps, and fairly cheap. Point in case tho, I got an xtant 300watt sub amp for like $130 shipped. Brand new, works like a charm.

I can safely say that the afformentioned amps you ......mentioned probably won't push that figure, even tho they say they will. Heck, if you need that many watts at that price point, ebay is gonna be your friend.

some MA 12's.. yes ebay is kinda like Dolamite..you can get some cheap hoes but diseases come with the terirritory..or freebies that you really dont want

check millionbuy for profile. They're really going cheap and they're not all that bad.

Another option would be the Lanzar 1200D on ebay. Going for $150 shipped right now and will do a legitimate 1200w at 1 ohm. It was the hot item a couple years ago and we all thought it was a good deal then at $220.

Some people claim Boss has a line or two of decent amps, but I don't know which ones, and they're probably not that cheap.

Pyle - Legacy - Soundstorm - Pyramid - Blitz --- they all work fine, but they're so randomly rated that you never know how much power you're really getting, but chances are it's a lot less than you think.

yeah but there were numerous failures on that amp though. I think only about 20 were reported but thats about it. I myself would get a VIBE1200D if i ran a budget system. Definitely a first pick if cost is an option.

go with profile or us acoustics. they advertise true power ratings, and they are solid amps.
