LOW budget 8's

Im starting to miss the use of my back seat in my dodge dakota, so im selling my Fi q 15 and RF t5002t + box.

im holding off on a nice system until i get a vehicle worthy of one. i was reading a thread over some 8's and someone mentioned the Tang Band W8-740P. then i browsed a lil more and found the Dayton SD215-88. i thought of a nifty box idea involving 4 8's and the backrest of my rear seat.

anyways, are these subs any good? i know they wont be as loud as the q. which one would be a better choice, or would they both be a waste of time in a car audio application?

I ran 4 of the AA assassin 8's (the old models) in my single cab and did mid 140's with em. The new ones are $100 shipped new on SSA.

Tang Band! Ran 4 of them and they are VERY nice for the $$$$$. You can put power to them too!

I can work you a good deal on four eDs...

However, I would chose the Tb's over the dayton

choose the tang bands, i use to run 6, had 8 in total, and they got loud as **** and sounded great.

Diamond D3 8" - I'm not sure where to find them, but I never hear anything about them. Maybe you could try them and give us a review.

the tbs are on sale rite now for $38 a pop, spend over $100 and u get free shipping...too bad they wont' till mid oct

The TB's at $38 a piece are the obvious best buy. They're not very efficient, but if you're running four of them, you shouldn't have any problems...
