Low budget 10" subwoofer options

Somewhere between 300-500rms each, but around $50 a piece shipped. Looking for durability, not too concerned with SQ.

I found a couple options at sonicelectronics, namely the MB Quarts (but they are out of stock) and the Clarions. I also looked at the American Bass XO 1044. The Infinity Reference subs are usually around $50 too.

I would go with Type Rs but can't seem to find them new for anywhere near $50 or $75.

Any other options out there? I'm looking to run 4 or more of these. Impedance isn't too important at this point. I'll match whatever the RMS rating is.

Those look nice. Unfortunately they want $40 to ship them from cali. I'll keep them in mind for sure.

Any opinions on these? Lanzar VW10D (VW-10D) 10" Dual 4 ohm Vibe Car Subwoofer

Doubt they'll take 600rms but they sure are cheap. Don't have experience with Lanzar.

Inifinity Reference or Boston G1, I ran a pair of G1 12s to 1500rms and they took it but got warm after 5-10mins of max vol test tones and music.

I used to throw a lot of power at the references back in the day too. They are nice little subs. I can get them on ebay for about $210 shipped.

YEa the references will take about 500rms safely, same with the g1s, I'm running G1 12s on 934rms currently and they dont get warm at all and I still pulled 139db sealed on the dash, box tuned to 31hz, when I gave them 1500, I pulled just over 140db at the headrest on music. SQ is great but they are very durable and have fuses to protect them from being over driven. I wouldnt get the MBQ's because they have weak motors and little xmax, the lanzar vibes are total junk, my old roommate had a pair of 12s 4 years ago and they were awful. Not sure about the Lanzar max's but they are designed for sealed apps only iirc. The JBLs mentioned above are the same as the Inifnity Ref's

I also like the CVRs. They can be had for $70 I think.
