Loudest I seen was 170 with 2 DD 9515 hooked up to i think it was 8 crossfires but.I'm sure there is louder its a big town. I have to say I'm the loudest in my house my mom ain't got nothing on my system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not to brag but I really think that I have the loudest system in my town. I don't live in a huge town. However, there are many people here with systems and several car clubs. I just don't think they know what they are doing when it comes to car stereos. They are into kits and air bags. That's really it. Anyway, I am hitting 150+dB with my setup (check Sig).

yeah well i'm not going to sound deaden my car at all then buy 4 different kinds of subs in prefab sealed boxes and crunch amps then drive down the street like all the stupid kids around here with my trunk rattling so much so that is all you can hear...cause trunk rattle is cool....i also think deck power for my speakers is clean sounding, cause my deck puts out 50x4 of deck power.....8 guage wire too and stock factory grounds...

(i thought i would be creative and point out all the flaws that noobies make....)

i currently run a planet audio 8 inch neo sub glassed into the passenger footwell, alpine 5.25's in the glass kicks and alpine midbass in the doors....for amps a planet audio 1200d running in 4 ohms puts out 700 watts to my sub and a planetaudio 300/4 sends power to my kicks and midbass....no trunk bass....everything is upfront where it is supposed to be....for h/u i have a alpine cva1005 and a clarion peq 460 in dash equalizer....all glass work was done by me and painted red by my buddy....oh and a 1 farad cap.....all this in a 2001 dodge neon....i will post pics when it is all complete (the amprack is not complete yet....) and the whole car has been done with a small layer of noise killer, and auto underlay.....

i am by no means the loudest, i am an SQer and will always be forever now.....but one of the loudest around here is a friend who i worked with at the last audio shop where i was previously employed...has 2 planetaudio F.U. 15's with a wall setup in a sprint, 2 h.o. alterators 3 batteries and 2 planet audio 1250d's strapped together equals 158 point something.......certified, but i cant remember the exact #

Loudest in my town is me which is kinda pathetic I hit 138.5 db. Alot of people around here have systems but they are all complete crap, there only one I heard that comes close (in an 88 iroc) I think he said he had 3 RF subs, not really sure the specifics of it, but put side by side I beat his.

I'd say im in the top 5 in my town, which is pretty small, i havent got my system metered yet but my setup is in my sig. a friend of mine just bought a custom 1995 acura integra r type with a sweet body kit, cold air intake, 4:2:1 headers, 2 15" rockford H2's off an audiobahn amp, 6.5"dvd screen, custom seats, air ride suspension, and hydraulics. he spent 12 grand on it and its still only a little louder than mine. im gonna be the loudest in town when i get my new stuff. RE HC 15, JBL 1200.1, 4 cubes switch ported from 30-50 Hz. i feel like the only person in town, and am pretty sure i am, who knows what they are doing. everyone else here just says "ooooo! rockford!" and stuff. they dont know what box tuning is either.

one dude has 2 abahn 12's, when you put your head in the cab of the truck, it gives you an instant headache, and he has it turned down...nother' kid has 4 abahn 12's in a caprice classic on 23's (drugs)...

Around here, there's just SOOO many "rich kids" with their parents credit cards that people have like 3-4 w7's with decent jl amps and a decent (non-DIY) install. Not that the install is all that great, but with all the money they pour into something they know nothing about, they still get loud as shit.

I'm the loudest in my town. 1 Koda 8 with 176 watts sealed in a Ford Excursion. I hit 156.3 on the new TL. Legal too.
