Loudest system for 2500$

My friend has a ford explorer, and about 3000$ to play around with...he wants to hook up his explorer with the loudest thing possible for around 2500...i was thinkin about 2 15 Btl's or 1 18 Solo X...what would yall recommend, if yall could, include what amp or any other subs that you would use.

Theres a shit load of options to choose from for $2500. Do a little searching before you waste 2500 on equipment that you might not like.

2 15s btls use off of here they have some in excellent condition for around $400 shipped and 2 kicker zx1500s amps would go pretty freakin loud and not cost you alot if u look around ?

sundown 3000d and 2 audioque hdc3 15" amp is 750 subs are around 500 Ho alternator is like $2-600 batteries are gonna be like $250. Get like 100 ft of 1/0 guage the roll should be around $100.

Whatever is left on the box, and some sound deadening. solder your connections and do it right he first time.

Once you are running more than 2k you are gonna have to spend 250 to a grand on wiring and electrical.

for 2gs you could get a stetsom 7kd and 4 15" hdc3 but no way 500 is gonna get you electrical, alternator, extra batteries and the box....

you realize this question would have different answers from everyone and no one can predict your install, it all comes down to installation and patience, as well as real car audio knowledge, there is plenty of that on here, I would read this forum for 2 weeks and then decide.

i would say a single 15" fully loaded btl off of a sundown 3000, definitely a HO alt, a few batteries, nice solid box, couple runs of 0 gauge.

WOW didnt think pioneer made 15" subs nowadays

anyone ever try one out??? feedback on one would be nice. then again, its pricey!

thanx for all the feedback, guys....my friend is just lookin for the loudest and most durable system for the price, he could care less what kind as long as it's 2 15's. I just mentioned Btl's because i've heard pretty good reviews, and have seen crazy video's on these subs...but where can he buy them from

he's got aftermarket speakers...they just cheap one's thow....Sony xplods, but he's got 4 of them with 4 tweeters, and he prolly dont feel like upgrading those
