I'm leaning towards the (2) 10'' Icons purely out of cone size advantage.

if you can wait i think 2 of the new 12" bm's (not out yet) can fit in a box that size.

I know they lean more to sq than getting loud, but they definitely win in the cone area department out of the subs listed so far.

Good point...thanks for the input. But being the most impatient person alive, I can't wait that long. I found a good deal on some 10'' Icons so I think I've narrowed it down to these 3:

(2) 10'' Icons getting 500 each

(1) New Mag getting 1000

(1) Brahma MkII getting 1000

With that last list I would say the 2 Icon's even though I am a big fan of the mags, the more cone area should be pretty nice. A few others to maybe take a look at would probably be the Treo SSi's and if they are still available the Sundown SD-1 v.2 10's http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=17667

yep....that's what I'm doing. I was just kind of concerned at first because I didn't know how efficient they would be in such a small enclosure with only 500 watts each. But I guess I'll find out soon.

spg 555 in my friends s10 cab was scary loud, it was in less then 1 cube of space because hes a sq freak, fiberglass modeled in the dash, and off the 1000/1 it would be perfect.

Ahhh too late....I already bought a 10'' Icon, and another one next week probably. If they aren't up to my liking though, I could always sell them and check out the Boston. Thanks for the suggestion though.
