I've heard a few set ups with 2 12" Q's sealed and they got pretty **** loud and sounded good also. 1500watts on the pair...

RE SE's are mentioned a lot and would work with my JL1000/1. FIQs are nice 1kw each would need a bigger amp. thats why im leaning toward the AA havocs which are suppose to be "Super Q's" AA and fi are the same company. but i could get a 3kw amp to put to the aa havocs and i "think it would be loud"

I get plenty out of a pair of Planet Audio Z-12s in a sealed box for country music. They're only 375 RMS/750 peak but I play them on a 1600 watt amp no problem.

Where at in MD?
If you want loud go ported, if space is an issue do 10"s or a single 15" instead.
