Ok i have 2 12 inch svc 4 ohm subs and want to add another svc 4 ohm sub to run at 1 ohm, i want it mostly for spl, nothing to expensive, i was looking at a jl w3??? what do u guys think i would get a dvc if i can run it at 1 ohms with my 2 4 ohm svc

Loudest will depend on your install, box, amp, even the car... You can not get a 1 ohm load from 3 SVC 4 ohm subs, you will need 4 subs with 4 ohm SVC's to do that.

It would be a very bad idea to add a different subwoofer to your already existing system. If you want new subs and/or more subs; switch them all to the same brand and model, or buy one more sub of whatever you already have. Don't mix and match sub models.

You would need either ONE DVC 2 ohm sub, or TWO DVC 4 ohm subs.

OR, FOUR SVC 4 ohm subs, or TWO SVC 2 ohm subs

i want to ADD a sub, i have 2 single 4 ohm subs, i want to add one more for sql(but more spl) and want to run them at 1 ohm.!!!! wat do i need? i know if i had another single 4 ohm it will be running at 1.34 ohms

Read what people say kid... What subs do you have? I told you if you want a 1 ohm load off SVC 4 ohm subs, you would need four of them. And as Squeak said, do not mix sub brands/models. You will not get a desired result. If you want a 1 ohm load, get 2 more of the EXACT same subs you have.

i think it wsa 4 ohm, but i know u can run a dvc sub with 2 single 4 ohms i just cant remember the impedance the dvc has to be!!!

The bass will sound muddy if you mix different brands/models of subs because the different sub will play slightly different from the others.

just get another of what you already have.

For the loudest possible output build a ported box to house alll three.

well i have 2 infinity 1230w's and there just not loud enough, but i am only giving them 250 wrms each with my profile amp, maybe ill just get like an 700 wrms amp? think that would make it alot louder?
