Loudest 300 wRMS sub?

It would be a very bad idea to add a different subwoofer to your already existing system. If you want new subs and/or more subs; switch them all to the same brand and model, or buy one more sub of whatever you already have. Don't mix and match sub models.

Just incase you missed it:

i want to ADD a sub, i have 2 single 4 ohm subs, i want to add one more for sql(but more spl) and want to run them at 1 ohm.!!!! wat do i need? i know if i had another single 4 ohm it will be running at 1.34 ohms

Read what people say kid... What subs do you have? I told you if you want a 1 ohm load off SVC 4 ohm subs, you would need four of them. And as Squeak said, do not mix sub brands/models. You will not get a desired result. If you want a 1 ohm load, get 2 more of the EXACT same subs you have.

The bass will sound muddy if you mix different brands/models of subs because the different sub will play slightly different from the others.

just get another of what you already have.

For the loudest possible output build a ported box to house alll three.

well i have 2 infinity 1230w's and there just not loud enough, but i am only giving them 250 wrms each with my profile amp, maybe ill just get like an 700 wrms amp? think that would make it alot louder?

If you have them in a sealed box right now, go ported. If you are underpowering them then get a bigger amp. Although they are 300w RMS and you are giving them 250w, so the extra 50w will not be that big of an upgrade. However it IS a profile amp, which might be over rated.. So a beefier, better quality, amp might be in order.

look if you are serious about going louder I'd suggest looking into a whole new setup, the only experience I've had that fits your situation was when I had 2 coustic 12" svc 4 ohm subs off a single coustic 400D amp, the subs were only getting like 200 rms a piece and it banged nicely and sounded good as well, (d@mn I miss that setup) I highly reccomend you look into coustic's stuff, their prices are reasonable and they get very loud off little amounts of power, that is the advice I'd give you if you consider changing subs, if your infinitis are not loud enough, adding another is not going to make much of a difference, check out coustic.com
