Loudest 300 wRMS sub?

im looking at the kenwood kac-x811d for $200 shipped off ebay, its a really nice amp... isnt it???
That amp will work pretty good.

If you want a 1ohm load wire 4 infinitys in parralell, if you want a 1.3ohm load wire 3 infinitys in parralel.

I would go with three infinitys in a ported box off that amp, if that doesn't wail, your deaf and there is nothing we can do to help you.

I would try to help ya .. .but you dont seem very helpable!
I have to agree there, and for the record I put the exact same infinity sub in my moms ride in a 1.5 cf sealed box powered by an alpine 250 watt amp, and the amp beats the p!ss out of the sub and it really doesn't get all that loud, my suggestion on the coustic subs was based on 300 rms subs that get loud, and my opinion is they are the loudest subs off that amount of power I ever heard, you should look into them if you want to remain with a setup pushing little power, that's all I have to say

not to help just to argue the atlas 12's slam at 220wrms a piece ported at 34hz!

crazy loud for that kinda rms power!

well i have 2 infinity 1230w's and there just not loud enough, but i am only giving them 250 wrms each with my profile amp, maybe ill just get like an 700 wrms amp? think that would make it alot louder?
get another amp yo, memphis, phoenix gold, hifonics, orion to name a few....

I think if he did get a DVC 4 ohm sub, it would be 1 ohm to the amp. The problem is that two of the subs will be at 4 ohms, and the third will be at 2 ohms. So it would be getting about twice the power that the other two subs are getting, and I guess that would be a big problem, although I don't know what the effects are.

of course you dont . . . .(because what you said has no effect either). when wired together they all produce the load on the ampat the same time not seperately.

If he got one DVC 4 ohm sub, he would be mixing sub models/ brands, which as mentioned, will get sloppy. If he were to do that, however, he would need a sub that could handle twice as much as the other 2 subs, since it would be like wiring up 4 SVC 4 ohm subs, just one sub will be getting 1/2 of the entire amp output. Should he do that? No.

two 8ohm SVC or DVC subs?

DVC would be 2 ohm load, an 8 ohm load is also a combination but not useful because the imepdance would be too high to get any desired power.

SVC you could get a 4 ohm load, 16 ohm load as well, but again that is just stupid to do.

Ok i have 2 12 inch svc 4 ohm subs and want to add another svc 4 ohm sub to run at 1 ohm, i want it mostly for spl, nothing to expensive, i was looking at a jl w3??? what do u guys think i would get a dvc if i can run it at 1 ohms with my 2 4 ohm svc
get new amp +subs dvc and sell the rest thats what i did@#% can't be happyer!

In my humble opinion......Infinity Reference subs do NOT get that loud period. I heard and audiobahn sub in an Identical ported box, run off an identical amp.....and the audiobahn was at least twice as loud. Both subs were getting their RMS power and you could toggle back and forth between subs........listening to them side by side. The infinity was moving like crazy, but it just didnt sound loud. It did go alot lower than the bahn, but the bahn was loud as all get out.

I really dont care for the infinity reference myself. My JL would blow it away in output ........even with the 140watts Im running to mine.
