Louder without carpet?

The carpet in my reg cab sonoma is ****ed. Theres what appears to be tar/chocolate sauce, some stuck in dead bees, and some white powder, which I assume to be some sort of drug, as a burnt up spoon was sitting next to it..

Anyway. I've been thinking of ripping out the carpet, and using roll on bedliner to cover the floor.

I hate carpet, its rather high maintance, with the bedliner I can scrub it with a bucket and a brush..

I know theres the base model vinyl floor I can get aswell but I don't want to buy it..

But my question is, how much louder will it be in cab with just bedliner on the floor. I'm talking the porus thick stuff, not the undercoating stuff..

Well.. I don't know what I'm going to do. I could clean and re-dye this carpet I guess, but meh. I just don't want to get water under the carpet and then have the floor rust out...

get new carpet.. shouldn't be too expensive.. or just straight bleach it then die it..
