how many cubes do each have?

i think a little over 1 per sub, which is a little less than reccomended. it was originally intended for one woofer, but for fun, my dealer tried two, he is testing another box, with three 8"s in it, ported. he uses mine to test a lot with, so he knows what really sounds good in my truck for different listening tastes.

as for the 8"s, i am willing to try anything.

i have gone fron two different pairs of 12"s sealed, to two treo ssi tens sealed with two JL 500/1's, two tsi 10"s sealed with two 500/1's, to two ssi 10"s sealed with a zapco 1100.1 dc, back to to tsi 10"s in another box, to a single tsx 10" ported with a zapco 1100.1dc, to a pair of dd 2510"s with the 1100.1, and now i am happy. and btw, that was a new box each time.

These subs are way under rated. I love the CVX. You ought to polly fill yout box too. Ever thought about taking the back seat out and basicly building a box then putting a coustom built seat on top. With our seats there really isn't much raising you can do. I know cuz I had my seat out for a long time before the blowthrough. Went with the blowthrough so I could have 5 people in my ride insted of 2. For some strang reason people really hate to sit back there. lol.

As for the amp the 2500.1 would be awesome on these. You need more power in a sealed box anyways.

You just need to be smart with the gains. Just cuz you have that extra power doesn't mean you need to give all of it to your subs. I think yopu will be happy with the sound. Polly fill this box first and see what you think about that. That costs a lil less.
