what kind of car do you have? are you capable of building your own box?

yeah i can build my own box, i have one i was planning on using though

currently driving a 2001 suzuki swift

So what are you looking to upgrade? Your amps? I don't think upgrading your amps will make your subs hit lower unless your current amp has a set crossover point for low frequncies.

You could try a new box.

i would build a new box, as it costs less, and after building one, you will NEVER buy one again.

build a ported box, you will get the lows way better. build it to 1.17 cubic ft counting displacement of sub woofer, and port. tune it to about 35 hz and use about 12-14 square inches of port area per cubic ft of box volume. with the port being as small as it is, it may be way easier to just use a piece of pvc pipe as your port and cut it to length. box volumes and port tuning, you can use the12volt.com
