Looking to upgrade deck

How good is the Jensen UV7I or the Jensen VM9412?

I've seen a lot of online places selling them for pretty cheap. I currently have an Alpine CDA-9886 and have been looking to upgrade to an in-dash monitor.

1. Would either of these Jensen be better for the audio than the Alpine I currently have? And if not, will they be worse?

2. They say DVD playback, does that mean you can play DVD's on them or just that if you have music recorded on a DVD-R or something that you can use them?

Or do you have any other suggestions for getting an in-dash monitor deck with a DVD player for a low price without losing quality on the audio?
