Looking to start a Car Audio group in Detroit, MI area!

Well, as i am sure some of you have seen, my avatar announces that i would like to start a car audio group in the Detroit, MI area. I live in Warren, but anyone who is in Michigan and is interested in starting a group, please feel free to message me either in PM on the forum, or in Yahoo or AIM. (Both are in my sig.)

Anyone is welcome. From novices to pros and all in between, please feel free to PM me if interested. Not looking to make any money off of this, just want to get a group of car-audio enthusiasts together to check out everyone's set-ups, and to enter some contests. My main goal is to have a decent sized group together and acquainted by the middle of July this year. The dbDrag is held every year in Taylor, MI at the Gibraltar Trade Center, and i would like to have a group to go and check it out.

So, lets get something going. Whether you have a daily-driver beater, or a big $ competition ride, feel free to hit me up. I look forward to meeting a bunch of Michigan car audio enthusiasts this summer! Thanks!

sounds cool..i wouldnt mind joining a small group just so i can tag along and see what everyone has and learn from them (watching is the best way to learn for me) but it seems like they have a bunch of real big audio groups around here in the chicago area...nothing i would be qualified for..

You best bet is to go to some car shows. Even if they aren't sound comps, and meet other enthusiests that way.

i go to both trade centers on the regular to gun and sport card shows. I'd be down altho i live straight down I-75 about an hour into Ohio. Anyone know if they still do the annual Ruff Dawg Car show at the state fairgrounds up there. Good place to take the rides to show em off.

We need to think of a group name i agree with Rage. we should all come up with diffrent logo's and we'll vote on the best.
