Advice on a setup for a friend

alright my homie wants me to help him build a nice setup for him. he almost bought a w7 for 800dollars i was like no! ha but anyways he really dont wna upgrade the alt maybe jus 2nd batt so im thinkin round 2k-2500watts MAX. was thinkin maybe a orion 2500D. and as far as sub goes i figure just go wit a single 15'' since that wil prolly get loudest with this amount of power in a trunk, his car btw is a 07 impala. so im thinkin a 15'' AQ or BTL. maybe a Nightshade wat u guys think wil get loudest and best bang for the buck. give ur input thanks guys.

All really depends what he wants to spend and what hes looking for exactly

he lookin to spend round 1k but i figure i can get him a AQ bnib from AQ for 300. a 2k+ amp for round 400 (orion 2500D) and i got a box ima give him that 3.5 cubic feet tund to 32 herts. but say i get a BTL or nightshade and get a box made stronger since mine aint double mdf. would it make that much of a diff is it worth the extra 200-300bux? or would the Aq get jus as loud. and save the extra money (this is figuring the AQ would hang in my box without needing double mdf since NOT AS beefy as a BTL/nightshade/MT/9500 )

no need for double MDF. 3/4" MDF will work just fine. Just resin the inside if you can, and brace it real good and it should hold up just fine

u dont think the BTL/mt/nightshade etc need double mdf? well the box i got alrdy made from fisher its a nice strong box.
