Looking to power my 2 SWRs 2Kw

So I pretty much have my amp picked out but I'm torn between the 2.

This is available which is enough power to power my subs no problem

Type Rs cant handle being overpowered as well as other subs. You can go with the q 3500 but set the gains precisely with a dmm or the coils will cook.

If you can afford it allways get the bigger amp.

Bigger amp it is. I'll keep that in mind Jeffdachef. I'll probably be upgrading the subs at some point anyhow.

I don't really have a budget. The 600 (well 650 after shipping) is about the top I want to go and I want as much clean power I can get for future upgrades. I'm really thinking of going with the soundqubed 3500

twisted sounds 3.5k used over the soundqubed 3500. Or a banda 7k or taramps 8k

Having trouble finding a TS 3.5K used, looks like $800 new but I don't really want to spend that much. I'm liking the 650$ range and I'm liking the 3.5K spot because I doubt I'm ever going to go louder than that. Do you know of anyone selling a twisted sound 3.5K?

Just currious. Why twisted sounds over soundqubed? Also, I'm still having issues finding any twisted sounds 3.5k amps used.

much better built, actually put out rated power plus about 20%

generally better $/watt if you look at actual output

So the soundqubed dont? LOL. I thought soundqubed was supposed to be a pretty good brand. looks like the twisted sound 3.5k and the soundqubed 4500 are the same price new, I would just really like to stay around the 600-650 range.

i didnt say they dont, id just much rather run something else. there has been models of soundqubed amps that have been shown to use cheaper quality components than other similar amps.

Oh, I see. I'm still pretty new to car audio and haven't explored the brands much, I know soundqubed is a higher quality brand than say Kicker or Alpine, but beyond that IDK. Right now I'm just looking for 2K for my current subs but want the ability to expand. The soundqubed 3500 had a 2K rating at 4 ohms which is intriguing to me because I can run my speakers either 4 ohm or 1 ohm. This amp could satisfy my wattage needs at either (but now I'm questioning the factory ratings). but the twisted sounds sounds are intriguing because I suspect I could get a used one for about the same price and seems to have a better rep. I'm also having issues pushing an order for the soundqubed because I've never bought on here and IDK what I'm doing. So do I wait for a twisted sounds or continue to try to get the soundqubed.
