Looking to get a few magnum d2's..

Hmm, prolly gonna pick up at least one D2 to start with, but they are only available in dual 2 ohms..meaning when i get 2, lowest i can go is 2ohms...and my amp puts out 1000x1 @1 ohm and 500x1@2...meaning most they get is 250 a piece, which is very minimal. Which amp would you guys run for 2 of these..i wanna keep it below $400. Was looking at the bx2005d, puts about 1300x1 @2 ohms..or about 600 a piece, would this be sufficient to drive the mag to its full potential? gonna throw them in a 1.25^3 ft sealed box..Thanks.

why not get two smaller amps instead of one big amp?

If you are not too worried about your current amp you could try and run it at a .5 ohm load. It may last longer then you think, you never know. What amp is it?

if u can spare like 50-75 bucks i would get the orion 2500d, 2 of those hooked up to an orion 2500d at .5 ohms would be pretty darn loud

actually he will be shocked at how loud they will get with 250 a peice

of course the more power the louder they get...but with low power it also get loud too

You could even run it at 2ohms. ~1800 watts is nothing to sneeze at either
