I've got a Type R 12" rated at 300rms for $100 bucks and it comes with your choice of sealed or a custom made ported box tuned to 39Hz. It doesnt have any carpet on it but it still slams and looks nice. If you pay shipping or if we can reach an agreement I'll sell it to ya. Its in perfect condition. Hey Dude Im not flaming you or anything...

Just wondering...the 300$ is to cover the amp sub and hu alone? What about wiring and a box and all that? I understand the situation though....check on ikesound.com...they have kicker comp 12's for 60$ shipped each and I know that would be a good bang for a chick and thats 120$. Grab a crunch power zone p2125 rms 125x2 500x1 for 100$ head unit jvc kds580 for 95$ I know its 315$ but its a good idea....if wires and the box are not included in the 300$?

yeah.. fill me in on this.

might need to make a new box for the tens though.

300 is just a ballpark.. something to shoot for.. if i go 50 over, she wont kill me, but she wont die. she just doesnt realize how much this stuff costs, blah blah blah blah blah.

you can get brand new ones for $100. $100 shipped in a ported box wouldnt be that bad of a deal though.

The cheapest that you can get a 1221D Alpine Type R is $135 shipped thats on Ebay there is Absolutely no other place that is cheaper than that. Its the dual 2ohm model. I'm throwing in a free box. That I would say is a reasonable deal.

Hey Ikesound sells them for $115 shipped just so you know. But...im very interested. In fact, I was THAT close to ordering a 12" type r 5 minutes ago. If you show me a picture of the sub and box with closeups of the surround, the edges along the boxes, etc, i'll be very interested. Let me know the age, power that was run through it, etc. Did you build the box yourself? Can you give me the exterior dimensions? Thanks a lot..im very interesetd.

the head unit that I have is a old sony head unit about 3 years old it still work good has green and yellow numbers. has a bass bost and shit like that the subs are in really good condtion can handle 200wrms thay are all black. the subs come in a carpet seal box the amp is a crossfire tex 150 witch puts out 600 watts max and 150watts rms per chanle you can get all that for 300$ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif all you would need is wires. let me know if you want them

how much for the tek 150... and is it the 6 fin or 8 fin version? that means the number of upraised sections on the heat sink.

buy 2 kicker comp's 12's for 120 shipped

buy a profile amp the 420m one .. run it @ 2ohms

then u'll have enough to get a jvc amp from ike too

that's the setup i got a girl for a nice price (3 something)

thing is though - this girl has the subs sealed u could go ported if u want ... but this is str8
