does the kit have everything i'd need? and how much wire is in a kit?

However much wire you need. I make the wires and terminate the ends with ring terminals, using a hydraulic crimper that will never have you worry about the connection coming undone. And I top it off with some adhesive lines heat shrink tubing to make it look nice and clean at the ends.

$60 shipped. But I highly doubt you'll need 16ft for three wires. My full size truck only took 9-10ft.
