Well you said that you have a box built for the Type R....so you're probably tuned low 30s right? I would go with the RE SE all the way. It'll sound better and might even get louder than the type R.

for a low budget 15 inch bx15d2 brutus they love 1000+ rms and low tuning or the ground pounder or for about 225 i can get you a bnib 1612 olympus that will scream in a box that big.
