Finally bought my 5-channel amp so I know what kind of power i am going to be working with. What I am looking for is a nice 12-13" sound quality sub. I like some bass, but quality is the most important factor as i listen to lots of rock music. My amp will put out around 500 wrms at 2-ohms so i am looking for a sub around that power range.

Some of the subs I am interested in:

JL W3

JL W6

IDQ

Boston Acoustics G5

PG RSD

I am open to other offers, but just keep in mind, its sound quality over output. Thanks!

Thanks for the offers, went with a W6

yea

I have a very nice Premier tsw12prs 12, dual 4 too...awesome sounding sub, decent output too....Only needs 1 cubic foot.....Very efficent as well....$100 plus actual shipping. Check it out, great reviews.....

depending on what your amp does at 4ohm, i have a 15" aa atlas. $75 plus shipping. single 4ohm, 300wrms, only needs about 1.5 sealed, adjustable qts, xbl2. can probably get pics tomorrow, but would have to be on my cell if interested. very nice sq sub.

also have a 10" id oem sub if wanting a 10". dual 4, id describes them as being a mix between an id and idq.

Na, really want a sub with a final impendence load of 2-ohm. the sub channel on my 5-channel amp isn't super powerful so i want toget as much out of it as possible.

If SQ is truly what you're after you should keep it at 4ohms so your damping factor stays up an try to find a very efficient subwoofer that doesn't need a ton of power. You may need a larger enclosure but that will sound better too. I'm old school though. Just a suggestion. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
